Learning about Teaching Using Technology
During the summer of 2006, I attended the Teaching Using Technology in order to broaden my knowledge. I received an iPod, which I began using for PowerPoint presentations during the summer (2006) session of HLSC 136; School Health Education. Students in the class thought the technology was wonderful and innovative. During the remainder of the summer, I took numerous workshops on WebCT, Faculty Web design and Dreamweaver. Although I consider myself a novice, the work I did over the summer has made me more bold and willing to experiment.
